We’ve invested in high-specification components such as 6066-T6 aluminium alloy rims, hubs and triple butted spokes, so you don't pay a weight penalty for extra off-road durability.
KEY FEATURES
Rims
Wide (29mm external, 25mm internal) rims constructed with 6066-T6 aluminium alloy (+34% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) then heat treated to increase surface hardness, improving fatigue resistance. The disc brake-specific asymmetric rim profile allows for balanced spoke tensions, improving durability and optimizing strength-to-weight ratio across the wheel system.
H_Ratchet Hubs
HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system with J-bend spoke interface and extra bearing shielding is designed for durability and reliability. Increased engagement surface area improves power transfer and longevity of the hubs, while using less material compared to a spring-and-pawl system, resulting in a light but robust hub system designed and tested to cope with the increased torque of wide-range drivetrains. H_CERAMIK freehub body coating adds protection against cassette gouging.
4 Season Durability
Built to survive an endless assault from mother nature. Using an oversized front hub shell to house larger bearings than found on most road wheels, offering ‘fit and forget functionality to keep you rolling smoothly for seasons to come. We've hand-built this wheel system with Pillar triple butted PSR spokes (increased thickness around the head of the spoke), using corrosion-resistant, self-lubricating brass nipples for dependability when you need it most.
Handling
The smooth and stable handling offered by the low-profile rim inspires confidence on unknown terrain, from gravel to singletrack. 25mm-wide internal rim profile offers ample tyre compatibility options and improved traction with the ability to lower your pressures significantly when paired with a tubeless tyre system.
