Hope V4 Vented Disc 220mm Purple

The brake disc consists of two friction surfaces that are connected by fins and allow air flow between the friction surfaces. This design enables significantly better cooling. On the test bench, Hope measured a 15% lower heating of the internally ventilated V4 disc compared to the simple floating rotor. In addition, the design ensures significantly better wet braking behavior because the water can be displaced more quickly through the interior of the friction rings.

The two-part version is available with spiders in all Hope anodized colors to match your bike. In addition, the light aluminum spider increases the rigidity of the disc and improves heat dissipation. The stainless steel braking surface is riveted to the aluminum spider, allowing it to expand and contract without the disc deforming.
